Youth Safety & Compliance at UM
Emergency Notice 🚨
If this is an emergency or you believe the youth is in danger, call 911 immediately.
Protecting Youth. Supporting Programs.
Each year, thousands of youth participate in camps, programs, and activities across the University of Montana, making youth safety a shared responsibility and a campus-wide commitment.
The Youth Safety & Compliance Office (YSCO) serves as the University of Montana's central resource for youth (individuals under the age of 18) program safety, compliance, and risk management. We partner with faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and community organizations to provide guidance, resources, and support that help create safe, positive experiences for youth while ensuring programs meet University standards and applicable laws.
