Dr. Rubin is the author of The Fragmentation of Afghanistan: State Formation and Collapse in the International System (2002) and seven other books. A leading authority on Afghanistan, he will discuss the effects of the deteriorating situation in that country on the United States.
In addition, Mr. Rubin will give a Seminar titled, "The Wars in Afghanistan: The Post-Imperial Transformation of a Regional State System" from 3:40-5:00 P.M. in Gallagher Business Building 123.
