Used to attract and retain a faculty member in the Department of Accounting and Finance by providing a salary supplement who carries the distinction of being the Donald and Carol Jean Byrnes Professor, and may also support research and scholarly activities within the Department of Accounting and Finance.

Supports a faculty fellowship in the College of Business for a tenure-track faculty member in the field of Management Information Services.

Supports a recipient faculty member within the Accounting and Finance Department by providing salary, research and scholarly support as well as additional research, scholarly activities and other expenses within the department.

2020 Recipient: Dr. Timothy Manuel

Supports a tenured, or rising tenure-track, faculty member of the College of Business. Preference given to faculty whose teaching or reseach incorporates banking and industries that are important to rural communities such as agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. The faculty member will work to identify and prepare promising students for careers in banking or finance.
