Choices Medical Plan Services

Our medical plan covers more than doctor's appointments. Use it for mental health/substance use disorder services; physical, occupational, speech, cardiac, respiratory, pulmonary, and massage therapies; acupuncture and chiropractic treatments; hearing aids; obesity management and dietary/nutritional counseling.

MUS Choices Medical Plan members are eligible to participate in the Wellbaby program. Benefits include copay waivers, free prenatal vitamins, a free pregnancy book, and maternal health coaching.

Hinge Health

Access a free, personalized exercise program and PT consultations. Employees and dependents 18+ enrolled in a BCBSMT medical plan through the Montana University System are eligible for Hinge Health, a digital exercise therapy program.

Take Control

Get help navigating chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes and pre-diabetes. Take Control offers compreshensive and confidential education and support, as well as monthly phone sessions with licensed dietitians, exercise and sports science trainers, and other experts.

Hinge Health Pelvic Floor Program

The new Women's Pelvic Health program offers personalized pelvic floor exercises in the Hinge Health app, designed by specialized physical therapists.

Massage Reimbursement

You can request reimbursement for the cost of up to 60 massages per year. Reimbursement is of the allowed amount per visit, minus the applicable copay. Follow the instructions on this form to submit reimbursement claims!

Physical Therapy Clinic

Need PT? Consider using the UM Physical Therapy Clinic, right here on campus. The clinic provides quality, patient-centered physical therapy care while serving as a teaching facility for graduate physical therapy students. Your care will be provided by a licensed physical therapist, along with graduate physical therapy interns.

Curry Health Center Services

Curry Health Center offers convenient pharmacy and travel medicine services to UM employees.

  • Need your meds? The Health Services Pharmacy is operated by UM's Skaggs School of Pharmacy. It provides access to prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and immunizations for everyone!
  • Traveling abroad? Book at least 6 weeks in advance for advice, safety tips, immunizations, and more.
