We Are UM: in-person orientation

New employees will attend this in-person orientation that focuses on the University’s mission, history, traditions, and points of pride.
We Are UM offers an opportunity to connect with fellow new employees and learn more about key campus resources. It includes:
- Understanding what it means to Put Student Success at the Center of All We Do (PFA1)
- Connecting to Mission First, People Always (PFA3)
- Learning about their part in UM's important mission of inclusive prosperity
- UM Trivia
- Campus Resources Fair
- History and Traditions Campus Tour
- Lunch at the Lodge Dining Center, hosted by UM Dining
How to Register for We Are UM
The We Are UM orientation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on the following dates.
New, recruited and/or benefits eligible employees will be sent information about this orientation directly. Managers should ensure new employees register in advance through OOLD’s Griz Hub for the next upcoming session. This is a required piece of all new employees' onboarding process.
