Grizzly Marching Band Schedule
- Regularly scheduled rehearsals are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00pm-5:30pm.
- Drum Line meets on rehearsal days at 3:30pm for warm-up.
- Additional sectional rehearsals will be arranged by sections.
- Game day dress rehearsals will normally begin 4 hours before game time at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Members will remain with the band through the end of the game.
MARCHING BAND CAMP 2024 - GENERAL PRESEASON SCHEDULE
Saturday-Sunday, August 17-18 - GMB Staff Meetings
- Section Leaders, Equipment Staff, Uniform Staff, Historian, Personnel Manager, Drum Line Coordinator, Librarian, Drum Major(s), Graduate Assistant(s), and Directors.
Sunday, August 18 - New Student Move-in, Registration, and Rehearsal
- Students can move in Sunday morning to the room they have been assigned by Housing Services for the school year. Housing staff will be in each residence hall to check students into their rooms. The housing office will have specific procedures they will be following. They will be communicating with all students living on campus.
- All first year members of the GMB will register at 1:00pm in the lobby of the music building. You will meet your section leaders, drum majors, and other staff. At 2:00pm, we will have a brief meeting to talk about camp and the schedule.
- All drumline members will meet in Room 1 at 3:00pm to begin part placement auditions.
- All new GMB Brass/WW players will meet at 3:00pm to work with the GMB staff to begin work on marching fundamentals for the season.
Monday, August 19 - Friday, August 23
- GMB Band Camp - ALL returning members report for camp. 8:00am registration
The full 2024 GMB Band Camp schedule will be emailed to participating students just before camp begins.
