Action Items
Action items must be completed prior to registering for classes.
You will receive a notification on your GrizPortal homepage once an action item has been assigned, and a hold will be added to your account.
Instructions:
- Log in to GrizPortal using your NetID and password.
- Open the Tasks/Calendar button in the top right corner.
- Select the Tasks tab.
- Complete pending action items.
Hold still appears after completing all tasks?
Log out, then log back in.
If that doesn't work, open GrizPortal in a private/incognito window or clear your browser cache/cookies.
Financial Responsibility Agreement
Signing the Financial Responsibility Agreement confirms that by registering, you accept responsibility for paying all tuition and fees by their due dates — even if you later drop or withdraw from courses.
It also outlines important information about:
- Late payment charges
- Financial holds
- Refund deadlines
- Collection procedures for unpaid balances

Student Health Insurance Election
Either purchase health insurance coverage through the University OR confirm that you are already covered by an outside health insurance plan.

Address Verification
Confirm that your mailing address and current home location are are up to date or make edits as needed.
- Current Mailing Address: Where to send mail from the University
- Current Home Location: Where you will be living while classes are in session during the semester
Update Emergency Contact
Confirm that your emergency contacts on file are up to date or edit it if needed.
