Support Our Students

The School of Theatre and Dance relies on the generosity of our patrons and donors to support the work of our students in the classroom, in our shops, and on our stages. There are three ways to have an impact in the lives of our students.

How You Can Help

Scholarships

Your contributions help ensure that talented students will receive the financial support essential to their training and continued growth. Your donation is vital for their success in the competitive world of the performing arts. We appreciate your ongoing commitment. Choose "Patron Scholarship" from the drop-down menu below.

Impact Funds

These funds allow us to invest in programming that sets our students up for success. Impact funds are used to hire guest choreographers, directors, designers, and technicians who bring professional practice to our studios and performances. They allow us to invest in critical infrastructure and technology upgrades at a moment's notice, allowing us to remain agile in our ability produce top-notch theatre and dance for the Missoula community. Most importantly, they allow students to travel across the country and the world to meet fellow artists from a variety of backgrounds at conferences, workshops, and nationally renowned performance venues such as the Kennedy Center. Choose "Dance Impact Fund" or "Theatre Impact Fund" from the drop-down menu below. If you would like to give to both, note that in the Comments box.

Season Sponsorship

The production season in the School of Theatre and Dance is the cornerstone of our training programs. Each year we spend $25,000-$50,000 producing our season of performances. Costs include raw materials such as wood, steel, and fabric; specialized equipment and software; and the licensing rights to popular plays and musicals. Gifts to the this area help us innovate and make great art. Season sponsorships allow us to keep performances accessible to the community by offering affordable pricing to ensure no one is turned away at the Box Office.

If you would like to make a major gift in support of our production season, please consider giving to the Season Sponsorship Fund or contact
