UMOnline Community Partnerships
Offer University of Montana Extended Credit
Community providers of education can offer university credit for their courses when they partner with University of Montana, UMOnline.
By partnering with academic departments at University of Montana, and a variety of outside organizations, UM's Extended Credit Programs are able to offer an array of academic credit courses designed with the community in mind. Whether striving for professional development, academic enrichment, or completing recertification as a teacher - all of our extended credit courses meet University of Montana standards for academic rigor.
The most common offerings are field courses or experiential courses, continuing training or recertification for teachers, and international travel courses. All of our extended credit courses begin and end throughout each semester, and course length varies from a long weekend to several months. Students register and pay a course fee directly to the sponsoring agency, in addition to a credit recording fee paid to UM.
For more information please contact Outreach and Special Programs Manager, Holly Kulish.
