Course Overview
Join the migratory beekeepers who contribute billions of dollars annually to the agricultural industry.
Participants will learn an overview of the science and economics of insect pollination, overwintering, and hive monitoring. By the end of this course, participants will be able to provide for the needs of colonies on the move and have familiarity with the logistics, laws, and financing of interstate bee transport and farm contracts.

Structure and Location
This course is taught fully online through Canvas, the University of Montana’s online learning system. You must have access to an internet-connected computer to complete coursework. You must have successfully passed Apprentice Level Beekeeping or the Apprentice Test-Out to participate in this course.
