During swim lessons, the pool is 84 degrees. All other times it is 83 degrees.

Yes, we have a dry sauna on the south end of the pool. Hours of use are during lap swim and recreation swim times. General access is not allowed during any other programmed time.

The pool facility has a small weight room designed for swimmer workouts. There are free weights, balance balls, various benches and weight bars, resistance bands and TRX system. The weight room is available during lap swim and recreational swim times.

Lifeguards are on duty during all hours there is activity in the pool, no exceptions.

We do not have a collegiate swim team, however, there are a number of excellent programs in Missoula for competitive swimming: Missoula Aquatic Club, UM Triathlon Club, Polo Club, and our Adult Coached swim are a few examples of advanced swimming at the Grizzly Pool.
