In addition to external scholarships and fellowships, there are organizations right here on the University of Montana campus that help students reach their goals. These campus organizations can support students in internship placement, career development, going abroad, scholarship support, and more.

Founded by former senator from Montana, Max Baucus, the Baucus Institute is a non-profit organization that connects Montana-based with exceptional opportunities:
Intern in Washington, D.C: Get an internship in a Senate office in Washington D.D. (stipend included)
Climate Scholars Internship: Connect with a summer internship in Montana or around the world focused on environmental policy and climate issues (stipend included)
Montana Leaders Program: Receive an internship at a Montana-based governmental or nonprofit office (stipend included)
Study Abroad in China: Spend two weeks in various locations around China, attending seminars and having an immersive experience
Study Abroad in Ireland: Take part in an ABA-accredited Ireland Comparative Law Study Abroad program.
Attend Big Barn Dialogue: Spend time in Big Sky, Montana listening to a forum centered around US - China relations (stipend included)
Located in the Alexander Blewett III School of Law on the University of Montana campus.

The Experiential Learning and Career Success Center helps UM students build meaningful careers through connections with volunteer opportunities, internships, jobs, and undergraduate research. ELCS also has a comprehensive catalog of resources, including resume building, interview help, and the Strong Interest Inventory. Located on the 2nd floor of Aber Hall.

Founded by an Act of Congress in 1983, the Mansfield Center promotes civic education and global partnership on the University of Montana campus. The center connects students with international education opportunities, highlighting language and cultural programs. The Mansfield Center also promotes community engagement experiences and public education initiatives. The Mansfield Center is located on Level 4 of the Mansfield Library.

Campus Compact is a nonprofit organization promoting higher education and civic engagement. The Newman Civic Fellowship connects students with resources to create social impact, as well as scholarship and career opportunities. Must be nominated by the university president. Montana Campus Network for Civic Engagement is located in the basement of the Davidson Honors College.
