EXPLORE GLOBAL CHALLENGES

Start off your college journey by asking big questions. How can we design green cities for the 21st century? How can poverty exist in a land of plenty? How do we ethically use AI-based technology? Tackle one of these complex questions (or dozens of others) in a seminar with GLI students from many different majors. Then, choose a global theme that you can explore during your experience.

Seminars are designed as three-credit interdisciplinary courses that address global challenges and incorporate intercultural or international perspectives.

Global Challenges and Leadership Course

During spring semester, you enroll in a one-credit course that delves more deeply into examples of issues connected to each of the five global themes. You will get the chance to consider the complexities of challenges related to each theme and then choose a global theme around which you design your pathway through the program.
