Housing Contract

Summer and Extended Spring residents will be required to review the housing contract and follow all housing guidelines and procedures.

  • All charges associated with housing during the Summer Session (May 11 – July 27, 2024) will be posted to your CyberBear account.
  • Charges will be assessed for any room and/or outdoor access cards, including temporary access cards, and mailbox keys that are not returned.
  • All current rules, regulations, procedures, and responsibilities apply to individual Residents, including, but not limited to those within the University of Montana Student Conduct Code, UM Housing Handbook, and COVID-19 Policy Expectations
  • Residents wanting to cancel a Summer Housing Application must do so three business days prior to the expected arrival date to avoid being charged for Summer Housing.
  • The Resident agrees that UM Housing may enter, and UM Housing reserves the right to enter rooms with or without notice for maintenance, preparation of space for a new Resident, inspection of room conditions upon vacancy of a Resident for health and safety reasons, and/or any security or safety issues that arise during the Summer Session.
