Who is eligible to apply for summer housing?

• Spring residents not attending Summer Session who need to extend their spring housing from May 13-22, 2023
• Students with a completed Residence Halls 2023-2024 application
• Students enrolled for Summer Session

Extended Housing: May 13-22

Residents for Spring Semester can request to extend their Spring Semester assignment for a multitude of reasons such as graduation, transportation, etc. Extended Housing is available from May 13 – 22, 2023. Residents will be required to vacate their spring assignment by 7 p.m. on Monday, May 22.

Please note, UM conducts an annual shutdown of the Heating Plant in order to perform necessary maintenance. The annual shutdown is scheduled for May 13 – 22. During this time, HOT water will not be available within the residence halls.

Summer Housing: May 13 - July 30

Summer housing will be located in Aber Hall from May 13 until July 30. May move in dates will be accommodated based on availability. If your intention is to move to Lewis and Clark and remain through fall semester, complete the Lewis and Clark application. All residents staying in Aber Hall for the summer will be required to vacate by July 30, no exceptions. Spring Residence Halls students will remain in their spring room until an Aber Hall room is available.
