Summer Session Housing

Check In Information

You will check in at the Aber Area Desk. The office is located in the 1st floor lobby of Aber Hall. You will be issued an access card and mailbox key for your summer room.

Charges

Summer Housing charges for your requested dates will be assessed to your student account. Any charges associated with lost keys, access cards, cleaning, damages, etc. will be posted to your UM account on CyberBear.

Aber Hall Information

All Residence Hall spaces are equipped with a standard twin-sized beds (not extra-long), desk, dresser, closet, chair, bookshelf, overhead light, network connection, and a wastebasket.

Every residence hall provides complimentary use of washers and dryers for residents only. If you are new to doing laundry, refer to the chart in the laundry room for helpful tips, or ask your hall staff for assistance. Please do not leave laundry unattended and do not prop laundry room doors. UM Housing is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged laundry.

Parking Information

A parking decal is required to park on campus. Students and guests will be able to register vehicles on the UMPD website.  You will also be able to pay for fines through that same site.

Check out Information

You will be required to move out by July 27, or the date you have indicated on the summer housing application. Cleaning and check out information will be sent to residents via UM student email approximately ten days prior to the indicated move out date.
