Neoed Project

The Neoed Project consists of a few phases where we'll be implementing suites and products from Neoed. NeoEd is a workforce management platform and is the higher education branch of NeoGov. The NeoEd suite offers recruiting and hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and offboarding of employees at UM and affiliate campuses at Helena College and UM Western.

UM has purchased two modules from Neoed: Neoed Recruit and Neoed Develop.

The Neoed Recruit module includes:

  • Neoed Attract
  • Neoed Insight
  • Neoed Onboard

The Neoed Develop module includes:

  • Neoed Learn
  • Neoed Perform

Neoed Insight

Neoed Insight is an applicant tracking system (ATS) for recruiting and hiring of new employees for UM and affiliate campuses at Helena College and UM Western. This will both improve efficiency and capabilities for UM HRS and improve the candidate experience for potential and current employees at UM. The Insight platform provides ease-of-use to navigate, track, report, and notify personnel on employment changes. Insight includes an applicant self-service portal to streamline communication and the recruitment process including options for interview self-scheduling.

Insight will used to conduct recruiting and hiring of staff, contract professionals, and temporary employees. UM will be launching Interfolio Faculty Search for faculty and academic administrator recruiting.

Insight will be the first NeoEd module implemented and is scheduled to go live in Spring 2024.

Neoed Candidate Text Messaging (CTM)

Candidate Text Messaging (CTM) is part of the recruiting module Insight. CTM can be utilized to text candidates with updates on their applications, interview reminders, and next steps in the recruitment and hiring process.

Neoed Onboard

Neoed Onboard will complement additional enhancements to the hiring of new employees. Onboard will provide a self-service portal for new employees and ensures employees are ready to hit the ground running on day one. More information coming soon.

Neoed Attract

Neoed Attract is a part of the recruiting module and is a candidate relationship manager (CRM). This will allow HR recruiters to manage candidate relationships, leads, automate communications, and measure recruiting data. Attract will be configured and launched after Insight.

Neoed Learn

Neoed Learn is a learning management system (LMS) and will complement and enhance UM’s Office of Organizational Learning and Development (OOLD) and UM’s overall employee learning and development management. Learn will provide a centralized platform to access and track trainings and provide reporting capabilities. More information coming soon.

Neoed Perform

Neoed Perform will move performance evaluations into the digital age. The module will empower managers to evaluate employees, provide ongoing feedback, and automate the annual performance review process including tracking of completion of reviews. More information coming soon.

Perform will be used for non-faculty reviews. Interfolio Review, Promotion, Tenure (RPT) was launched in Fall 2023 for faculty.
