Please Support Montana Model UN

Would you like to help UM students and Montana high school students expand their knowledge of global issues, develop leadership skills, and prepare for careers in international relations and public policy?

Alumni and Friends of MMUN are vital sources of funding for our activities.

Please contribute using the form below or by sending a check to the University of Montana Foundation, P.O. Box 7159,  Missoula, MT  59807-7159, with a note in the memo line indicating that your contribution is for the "Montana Model UN Alumni and Friends Account" (UM Foundation Fund #27-D). You will receive a tax receipt for your gift.

Your donation will support meeting rooms, technology, and awards for the MMUN High School Conference, and travel and conference registration for UM students on the MMUN Team.  Sample expenses:

  • MMUN HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCE - Fall conference at UM
    • $7,000 - UM University Center rooms, technology, and catering for about 300 Montana and Idaho high school students
    • $500 - student, team, and school awards (medals, plaques, certificates)
    • $250 - printing cost for Delegate Handbook (conference program)
    • $25 - a gavel for the chairperson of one of our five committees
  • MMUN TEAM - Spring collegiate National Model UN Conference in New York
    • $4,000 - 3 hotel rooms in New York for 4 nights (4 students per room)
    • $750 - airfare for one of the 12 UM students on the Team to fly from Missoula to New York
    • $300 - a modest Team dinner in New York
    • $150 - NMUN registration cost for one student

Priority placement in our November 2025 Delegate Handbook (conference program)

   The handbook is used for two days by about 300 high school students, 25 high school teachers, and 40 UM students and faculty

   The handbook is 5 ½" wide x 8 ½" tall.  Please provide camera-ready copy.

  • $100 for 1/4 page business logo
  • $250 for 1/2 page business logo
  • $500 for full-page business logo

CONTRIBUTOR, $25-500 per year

  • You will receive a tax receipt for your gift
  • Contributions of $250 or more will be acknowledged in the 2025 conference program

TEAM SPONSOR, $750 per year

  • You will receive a tax receipt for your gift
  • We will put your logo on the MMUN Team's website
  • We will acknowledge your support on social media

CONFERENCE SPONSOR, $1,000 per year      

  • You will receive a tax receipt for your gift
  • We will put your logo on the MMUN Conference website 
  • We will acknowledge your support during the opening ceremony and in the conference program

SEASON SPONSOR, $1,500 for 2025-2026 Team and Conference

  • You will receive a tax receipt for your gift
  • We will put your logo on the websites for the MMUN Team and MMUN High School Conference 
  • We will acknowledge your support during the opening ceremony, in the conference program, and on social media
  • Full page logo in November 2025 conference program, with priority placement such as back cover
