Opera Theater

The University of Montana Opera Theater is nationally recognized for its exciting and dynamic productions of lyric and musical theater! Members of this select group perform in full productions and scenes programs. Develop your performing skills and your understanding of technical theater in full operas, musicals and scenes programs. The UM Opera Theater has been honored multiple times by the National Opera Association for its excellence. All students are welcome to audition.

UM Choirs

The UM School of Music offers three large choral ensembles: the University Choir (MWF 11:00-11:20) and UM-Missoula Community Chorus (Thursdays, 7-9 pm) are open to all students without audition. The Chamber Chorale (MWF 1:00-2:20) is a two-semester commitment and requires a multi-step audition. Sign up for an audition on this Google spreadsheet. Questions? Zootown Cabaret

Zootown Cabaret is an ensemble that performs song and dance variety shows in café and nightclub venues.  It is sponsored by the UM School of Music and is open to students via audition.
