Tutoring Options
Our professional writing consultants support writers of all ability levels, from all departments, at any stage in their writing or presentation process, on projects of all kinds. Tutoring is available during drop-in studio hours, by appointment (online or in-person), and at satellite locations
Studio hours
Drop-in studio hours (1-4pm Monday through Friday, Mansfield Library room 322) provide workspace with writing and reading support. Consultants will check in with you to make sure you have what you need to dig in, answer any questions, and provide access to helpful resources. If appropriate, they can assist you with setting up a separate appointment for additional support.
Appointments
To make a 30 or 60-minute appointment, you’ll need to register for an account or log into your existing account. You will have the option to select an online or in-person appointment. To access the Zoom link for online appointments, click on your appointment box. In-person appointments take place at our tutoring center in the Mansfield Library (room 322). Bring a digital or printed copy of any planning or writing you have done. If you can’t keep an appointment, please cancel through the online scheduler.
Satellite drop-in hours
During the fall and spring semesters you can also find us during drop-in hours at satellite locations across campus. Look for our sign and a friendly face!
- Branch Center (Room 206 of the University Center) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-3pm
- Missoula College (2nd floor lounge area) on Tuesdays from 11:30am-1:30pm
- Payne Family Native American Center (AIS office, Room #?) 11:30am-1:30pm
