Headings

In addition to making your content accessible, assigning page headings to your web content is important for establishing the informational and structural hierarchy of your pages.

There are six heading elements (Heading 1 through Heading 6) that denote section headings. Each subheading should be nested under a heading of the previous level. It may be helpful to think of these headings as the outline of your page content.

Content should not skip levels (for example, from heading 1 to heading 3).

Add a Heading

  1. Place your cursor on the line of text that will become a heading.

  2. Click on Formats (in the icon toolbar)> Headings and select the appropriate heading level.

  3. Save & Submit your changes.
