The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at The Unviverstiy of Montana-Missoula offers an M.Ed. in secondary education. This option is not for those seeking the initial 5-12 secondary teaching licensure and should refer to the Curriculum Studies Option Secondary Licensure 5-12 for specifics on the initial secondary teaching licensure programs. For those already licensed to teach at the secondary level, this option allows students the opportunity to become more highly effective secondary teachers.
