Housing

Partner University Exchange students should apply for housing through UM Housing at University of Montana.

1. Visit myHousingPortal to complete your housing contract and select your room preferences. You can also request to be part of a Living Learning Community. 
2. You will select your preferred meal plan on the housing application.  Visit the UM Dining website for details on your options.
3. If you haven't had the chance to see any of our residence halls in person, check out these virtual tours to learn about your options. 

Bed Linens: 

UM Housing partners with the company OCM to provide students with an opportunity to order their room linens in advance. We encourage you to check out the OCM website for linen options that you may purchase for your Residence Hall room.   

Early Arrival Housing

Housing is available for students who arrive prior to the date the residence halls officially open at $23.00/night. Details to arrange Early Arrival Housing are provided as part of your Acceptance Package.

Meals

There are various meal plans available through UM Dining. Students living in on campus Residence Halls are required to purchase a meal plan through UM Dining.

For students living at Lewis & Clark Villages or University Villages, any student with an active Griz Card can activate a Bear Bucks account which allows students to deposit money into a meal plan account to purchase meals at a discounted rate at all dining facilities on campus.
