Driving and Parking Directions for Move-In: Jesse, Turner, and Knowles

West Bound I-90

  1. Take Missoula's exit 105 onto Van Buren Street, go left via the first roundabout and straight through the second. 
  2. At the stop light, turn right onto E Broadway Street. 
  3. Move into the furthest left lane and turn left onto Madison Street at the stoplight.
  4. Driving over the bridge, stay in the left lane, and veer left at the fork in the road to continue from Madison St to Arthur Ave. 
  5. At the second light, turn left/east onto S. 6th Street E. (Note: To improve traffic flow, vehicles are routed around the perimeter of campus so entry into move-in parking lots occurs via right turns only.) 
  6. Drive two blocks (you will see the University of Montana Adams Center on the right), then turn right/east at the stop sign onto Campus Drive. 
  7. Continue driving around Washington Grizzly Stadium on your right, the UM Police Department on your left. Then keep driving on Campus Drive along the base of Mount Sentinel. 
  8. Continue on Campus Drive as it curves around the southeast corner of campus and becomes E. Beckwith Ave. Continue on Campus Drive as it curves around the southeast corner of campus and becomes E. Beckwith Ave. Continue straight to Arthur Ave. (You will pass signs for Craig/Duniway/Elrod move-in, just keep going.)
  9. Turn right/north at Arthur Ave.
  10. Continue three blocks north on Arthur Ave. (You will pass signs for Miller/Pantzer move-in, just keep going.)
  11. Turn right into Lot J for Turner and Knowles Hall move-in, or into Lots K or K-1 for Jesse Hall move-in.
  12. After unloading, long-term parking is located at Lots P, U, Z, or M, at Dornblaser Field, or at Missoula College. 

East Bound I-90

From the Missoula County Airport

  1. Leaving the airport, turn right onto W Broadway Street (US Highway 10). 
  2. Take the first left onto Airway Blvd and continue straight through the roundabout, leading you to the entrance of East Bound I-90. 
  3. Follow I-90 and take Missoula's exit 105 onto Van Buren Street, go right via the roundabout.
  4. At the stop light, turn right onto E Broadway Street. 
  5. Move into the furthest left lane and turn left onto Madison Street at the stoplight.

From Highway 12 & 93 North

  1. Highway 12 & 93 become Brooks Street through Missoula. Follow Brooks Street through Missoula to Higgins Avenue. Brooks merges with Higgins at Hellgate High School.
  2. Be sure you are in the right lane and turn right onto 6th Street E, then go straight for five blocks where you will cross Arthur Ave. Continue two more blocks until you reach the stop sign. (Note: To improve traffic flow, vehicles are routed around the perimeter of campus so entry into move-in parking lots occurs via right turns only.)
