Since Teams is usually used as an application on your PC or Mac, the desire is for most everyone to adapt to using a headset or their speakers with their Teams Phone client. If you do not have a headset the project will provide a basic one. If you prefer a more advanced headset or a physical desk phone, we will be setting up a store front to purchase them.

Yes, Teams is a full featured phone system. Non-Teams users will dial your phone number as usual. People in UM will be able to “dial by name” instead of remembering or looking up your phone number.

Teams is a full phone system; you can dial 911 from it and it will get to the 911 operator. The adoption of Teams Phones allows us to take advantage of some advanced E911 features also.
