The Data Science Master’s program is now an approved Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP). This means that starting in Fall 2021 a select number of students from any state in the Western Region of the US (states pictured below) can get their MSDS from the University of Montana while paying 150% of the in-state tuition rate. All told, out of state students from these states can earn their MS in Data Science for around $9,000/year in tuition and fees. If you are applying from a WRGP state, include a note about your interest in the WRGP tuition rate in your application.
