This directory lists agencies in Missoula and throughout Montana where our students have completed practicum requirements. It is not comprehensive - for a broader list of placement opportunities, use the Sonia practicum placement software.

The specific practicum role is shaped by the learning agreement, supervision, and student interests, not the category listed here.

How to Read the List

The labels below provide context based on prior placements. Availability varies by year, program needs, and funding.

  • [Paid] - Paid practicum opportunity available (hourly wages, grants, or stipends)
  • [EBP] - Agency has experience hosting Employment-Based Practicum students
  • Virtual/Remote - Practicum where most student work is completed remotely. Some placements may include occasional in-person supervision or on-site visits.
