In-Range Progression Form

An in-range progression is used to compensate employees who have taken on an expanded scope of responsibility that would not justify reclassification of the position, but is a significant increase within the current classification of their position.  Further details are as follows:

• Upon approval, the employee will be granted an increase of 4% to their current base rate of pay
• An updated role description reflecting the revised duties and responsibilities assigned to the position in its new classification must be provided with the in-range progression request
