T. Anthony Pollner Distinguished Professor, Fall 2015

ABOUT: Kevin Van Valkenburg is a 2000 graduate of the UM School of Journalism. He worked as an enterprise sports reporter and online columnist for the Baltimore Sun before joining ESPN.com and ESPN The Magazine in 2012 as a news, features, and investigative reporter. His work has appeared in the 2005 edition of "The Best American Sports Writing," and he has received a number of other awards for his writing and reporting. At UM he was a classmate and friend of Anthony Pollner, after whom the professorship is named.
