Nancy Szokan

ABOUT: Nancy Szokan has been an editor at The Washington Post since 1999. Currently, she edits the Monday section of the newspaper titled "Washington Business." Before joining the Post, she was at the Philidelphia Inquirer for 20 years, where she held various positions, the last of which was as foreign editor. During the fall of 2004, she taught a course on opinion journalism. In her Pollner lecture she warned that traditional forms of news delivery are in decline and that journalists must evolve to meet changing demands if they hope to survive and thrive in this new media environment.
