Priority registration

Priority registration allows enrolled qualified students with disabilities to register early for autumn and spring semester courses. The Office for Disability Equity grants priority registration to students who require advanced planning to arrange a schedule or to request accommodations due to their disabilities.

Below are some examples of when students qualify for priority registration:

  • Students with testing accommodations require the opportunity to have breaks between classes.
  • Students with mobility disabilities require ample time to travel from one building to another.
  • Students require the opportunity to select particular times of the courses so they can work with their personal care attendants.

Undergraduate students must obtain a new advising pin each semester from their academic advisor before registration.
