UM Student Success

  • Study Jam- Home (umt.edu)  
    Study Jam supports undergraduate students' progress toward degree completion through no-cost-to-students, peer-led, group tutoring for a variety of different courses at the university.  
  • University Information Technology- Get Help Quick With UM IT - Home (umt.edu) 
    Student, faculty, staff, or people partnering with the University of Montana can receive assistance with technology, tools, and services here.  
  • Writing and Public Speaking Center- Visit early. Visit often. (umt.edu)  
    Consultants here can help students with research, writing or presentation process and with any communication task. 
    Offers both in person and online appointments. 

UM Health and Safety

  • Transportation-ASUM Office of Transportation (umt.edu)  Missoula and the university offer free bus services. Routes, schedules, and Route planning can also be found here. Bikes can also be rented on a weekly, monthly and semester basis for a fee. 
  • Curry Health Center- Curry Health Center (umt.edu)  
    Offers quality, affordable, and accessible health care for students at UM. 
    Departments include medical, dental, counseling and wellness programs.
  • Food Pantry- UM Food Pantry - Associated Students of the University of Montana - University Of Montana (umt.edu)  
    Located in the University Center, the Food Pantry offers free food assistance and personal care products to UM students, staff, faculty & community members.  
    Can also assist in applying to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

  • Student Advocacy Resource center (SARC)- Student Advocacy Resource Center (SARC) (umt.edu) 
    For those that have experienced sexual assault, relationship violence, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination, SARC is here to help you. Services are comprehensive, and staff actively listen, believe in, assist, and support clients. Based upon your decisions and choices, staff also provide referrals, connections and advocacy within the justice, medical, and social service systems.
    All services are confidential and free. Hours 9am-4pm
