Graduate Students
As a graduate student at the University of Montana, you can access Curry Health Center's medical services, counseling, wellbeing programs, and other resources just like undergraduate students. To be eligible for services, you must be paying the Health Service Fee as part of your tuition.
Getting Started Checklist
Before the start of the semester, make sure to:
- Upload your required immunization records
- Complete the Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Questionnaire
- Upload your health insurance card to the Patient Portal
- Review your health insurance requirements
- Explore Curry Health Center services and resources
Health Insurance Requirements
If you are enrolled in 6 or more credits and paying the Health Service Fee as part of your tuition, you are required to have health insurance during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Upload Immunizations and Complete Your TB Screening
Unlike undergraduate students, graduate students do not complete immunization requirements through the pre-registration process. Instead, you must submit these items directly through the Patient Portal.
Step 1: Log In to the Patient Portal
Sign in using your UM NetID and password:
Step 2: Upload Your Immunization Records
- Select the Immunizations tab.
- Upload copies of your required immunization documentation.
Step 3: Complete the TB Screening Questionnaire
- Select the Forms tab.
- Complete the TB Screening Questionnaire.
