Managing Profiles

The Employee Database is a tool that dynamically generates content for faculty and staff lists and faculty details pages on UM websites.

There are two things to take into consideration when trying to access the employee database. Do you have Faculty, Staff or Grad Student access, or do you have Administration access? These next few pages will go over the privileges associated with both.

Faculty, Staff and Grad Students:

UM faculty, staff and graduate students are added to the Employee Database (NetID required) so they can be included on people lists on UM websites.

Undergraduate students are added to the database only if included on a staff list for a UM unit or office.

Please contact your unit Employee Database Administrator to be added to the Employee Database or to a unit.

Note: It is highly recommended that users update their own profiles as the Employee Database generates a public web presence for each user.

Administrative Users.
