Specialized and Program Accreditation
In addition to UM's institution-wide accreditation from NWCCU, many individual UM programs hold specialized (programmatic) accreditation from discipline-specific accrediting bodies. These accreditors evaluate a single program or department against standards specific to that field, often tied to professional licensure or certification.
Programs seeking proof of institutional accreditation, please contact NWCCU using this form and select "General Accreditation Question" to make your request. The Office of the Provost will be copied on their response.
